With its stunning location and extensive gardens, Ivy House Country Hotel is a popular choice as a wedding venue. The client wanted to create a new purpose-built room to provide additional space to host weddings and events.
Working with the architects and the rest of the team, P.J. Spillings created a stand-alone building, undertaking all groundwork and piling, steelwork and brickwork and worked with Aspect Roofing on the roof.
Our joinery team installed wooden cladding and oak windows, and a new fence was also erected. Internally our team created partition walls that were dry lined and plastered.
The new ‘Ivy Hall’ is also completely soundproofed, meaning party goers can celebrate in style without disturbing other guests or nearby residents.
The project was finished to the agreed schedule. This was important to the client as weddings and other plans to use the new building had already been booked in.
