Environmental Policy

P.J. Spillings is committed to reducing our impact on the environment and we use sustainable materials wherever we can. All our wood comes from responsibly managed sources. 

We also aim to recycle as much waste as we can, and wherever possible we separate our waste by using designated skips onsite for plastic, wood and general waste to allow us to recycle more effectively.

Our preference is to work within the local supply chain, and we also group deliveries as much as possible to reduce our carbon footprint. P.J. Spillings is proud to be part of a replanting scheme which also works towards this goal.

We understand that an important part of an effective environmental policy is training and education. Our staff training involves a continuous process of sharing information and ideas across the team to develop better and more effective ways of working – and ensuring that all team members work to these agreed processes.
