P.J. Spillings were contracted to provide the Eagle canoe club with a brand-new clubhouse facility.
Based on the banks of the river Wensum, two kilometres from the centre of Norwich, Eagle Canoe Club has access to six kilometres of beautiful, gently flowing river but lacked a modern and functional clubhouse.
Demolition of the previous clubhouse meant that the ground was cleared, ready to construct a purpose-built modern facility for the club that included usual clubhouse facility’s such as changing rooms, toilets, and a kitchen area. Another feature within the clubhouse was a classroom for education and learning purposes.
The P.J. Spillings team undertook all steelwork, cladding and blockwork, as well as electrical and mechanical works. Internally P.J. Spillings decorated throughout with our joinery team on hand for the kitchen build and for all windows and doors. Our team also fitted a roller door to the outdoor storage space to allow for ease of access to the club’s canoes.
P.J Spillings are excited to have been involved in this community project, and be part of the creation of the additional and purpose-made space that will allow Eagle Canoe Club to grow.
